Join the Gaudete Brass for a surprising exploration of Christmas music. Join us for complex Renaissance counterpoint, sublime Russian sacred music, fiery Neo-Baroque fugues, and newly composed settings of traditional tunes. Gaudete will also feature brass settings of Reena Esmail’s Winter Breviary, where Hindustani raags are mapped onto the corresponding Medieval Canonical Hours of Evensong, Matins, and Lauds to create an absolutely unique musical experience.
